    • Description: The day is June 18, 1972, a day you’ve begun like all other days with nothing that stands out in any special way ever. However, today, you read a news report that Frank Wills was arrested for breaking into Watergate hotel last night. Nothing really big, but little do you know, you find yourself in a media circus. What follows is a whirlwind of news accounts of stories that you are tasked with either believing or disbelieving about Watergate, as conspiracies circulate all throughout the media landscape. Your goal here is to make it to the end of 1974 without embarrassing yourself by believing the accurate information and disbelieving the inaccurate information. Can you make it through Watergate without going crazy?
  • Triangle Shirtwaist Factory
    • Students: Grace Huckans, Nick Bornstein, Kaley Cox, Will Moore, and Dinayia Ferguson
    • Description: The game is a text base choose your own adventure style. Using trial transcripts and other primary sources, the designers put the player in the footsteps of the workers as they show up to work at the 10 story Asch Building on 23 Washington Pl in Manhattan on March 25, 1911. The space exists as a digital memorial for the workers, giving micro biographies for the various workers, letting the player explore the decisions workers made that tragic day.
  • The Homestead Steel Strike (Unreal Engine)
    • Students: Bryce Shedd, Luke Frisina, Nicole Kimmel, Lauren Wilson, and Joshua Tovar
    • Description: The year is 1881, and the player has just been assigned to Henry Clay Frick, Andrew Carnegie’s management bulldog who was been tasked with breaking the Amalgamated Association of Iron and Steel Workers union’s control, formed in 1876, of the Homestead Steel factory.  Tensions were rising as workers were being forced to accept a pay cut. You are tasked by Frick to try and find scabs, or workers who will cross the strike line to help Frick get the factory back online. As you filter through the town to find other workers, you learn how complicated the situation is, and you learn that Frick is also planning to bring in a group of armed militia called the Pinkertons as well. Soon, you have to make a choice. Do you continue to help Frick bring about Andrew Carnegie’s planned lockout, or do you aid the workers in leading the strike?
